*Can't remember what time we arrived at Sentosa. Anyway, we were all busy getting our tickets to enter the place, and we thought that UOB card holders had free entry. And so, happily some of us just showed our card at the enterance. Haha.. the person in-charge said only 1-for-1 banking cards were accepted [so paiseh]. And a sickening arrogant staff said "only 1-for-1 banking. You need at least 50K then you have this card" [excuse me! What makes you so sure we don't have 50k in our bank? hrmph~]. Headed to Palawan Beach*

As designer-cum-photographer for the event, assembled the banner when we arrived at the Palawan Beach and passed it on the the logistic team to put it up. After finishing [finally] my breakfast, chococalate muffin from Starbucks, did up my name tag and got more info about the whole race [where the markers and clues are] so that I can do a proper job of a photographer [so responsible rite? haha].

And so the Y1s arrived at about 10am [did not take note of the time]. Hippo announced the start of the "amazing race" aka Attack of the Otties!.

But before that, there was ice breaking games, and during that, CM arrived too. Thus, the job of the photographer starts... "click" "snap" "look here!" "take photos..." Shortly after, JH arrived and went around in her bikini!

After a long search for the 1st clue, the games master came to help. But alas! The box of clues (which was left unattended) was GONE! Thanks to the efficient cleaners of Sentosa. *talk about effieciency at the wrong time.. and of course.. brains, perhaps?*

The 1st clue lead them to Tanjong Beach, the second stop. However, because there is another photographer, all ready at the Tanjong Beach, I headed towards The Underwater World. From the map of Sentosa, it seemed near to Palawan beach, and hence a decision to walk to The Underwater World from Palawan Beach was made.

*And so I set off.. and I'm off to see the fishes! [and to look for the the next game masters]. I walked.. and walked.. and walked... I finally passed by the first aid hut, which was about 2-3cm distance on my map. I'm reaching soon...or so I thought.*

11.31am: Spotted a vending machine at the Beach Carpark *HAPPY!! Finally something to quench my thirst and loneliness - Minute Maid Limeade*
11.49am: Still on the way to the Underwater World.. *i got really bored on the lonesome walk to Underwater World.. so took a picture of myself on the deserted path. Haha..*
11.51am: Found Cel and Jun at the Underwater World drinking Cola *super long lonely and hot walk..about 20-25mins!* . No groups have arrived yet. (plan was to end the whole AOTO at 1pm) *ahem.. aren't we running very late?*
12.00pm: Arrival of Hippo and Rui *I forgot what time.. but approx I guess*
12.07pm: First group arrived at Underwater World. Cel n Jun ran to hide at the signpost. *not sure if 12.07pm is the right timing*

After they received the clues from Cel and Jun, the threesome (hippo, rui and I) followed the first two groups to the Fountain Gardens, where a "mass" dance was held. Groups were made to dance before they were allowed to find the clues. Dance teachers - Elain, Sherry & YuHui, taught them this dance with "belly dancing" "charlie chaplin" and "cha-cha-cha" *well, that's all that I can remember. LoL!* And the clues to the next stop were "hidden" (more like floating) in the fountain, which will lead them back to Palawan Beach.

*And so, after taking pics of the groups that have arrived at the Fountain Gardens and capturing the dance moments, along with funny pics with Hippo and Rui, the threesome headed back to Palawan Beach with a different team*

At Palawan Beach: Groups were made to spin around 10 rounds, three at a time, and the Y2s are to use the appropriate methods of transfers *supposedly to be approved by LHB* to bring a Y1 from the starting line to the ending line, approx 25m apart. *well well..was an eye opener. If LHB was there, he'll probably go [slearp] "are you sure that's right?" "why are you doing that?" or perhaps "you FAIL". Haha*
After transferring people, groups headed towards the Merlion for the next stop. And once again, because photographer no. 2 is standing-by at the Merlion, photographer no. 1 (me) headed to Siloso Beach (the final stop before eventually ending at Palawan Beach). *had to spend a lot of time on the phone explaining to P2. why he needs to be at Merlion instead of tagging with the last group. tsk tsk... bad coordiation with P2. Whose fault? Hahaha...I wonder.. qi si wo!*

Headed to Siloso Beach, this time with a new threesome: Rui, edified` aka my blog advisor, and myself. *We were attracted to the colourful words "SILOSO" and had a 'self-high' session taking photos with it!*

At Siloso Beach, groups had to take 5 pictures with the words "Siloso Beach" found around the beach. And when that is done, HURRY back to the Palawan Beach, the end point of the race! First team to reach wins! *well.. a group had to wait for the station masters who were apparently "lost".. are you sure? Lost since 10am when the games started? La la la...* And so, as photographer, I helped a group to take pictures.. as well, took my own pictures *haha*

2.00pm: (approx time) Groups were called back to Palawan Beach for lunch *because tiao tiao ren requested* Most groups were still in the midst of the race. However, everyone completed the race before returning *clap clap! great sportmanship everyone!*

2.23pm: Boarded the tram back to Palawan Beach. *rui had a great time taking pics as the tram driver, and with the REAL tram driver. edified and i joined in the fun too. also, asked a group to hop on along the way. haha.. what a great driver!*

2.49pm: The new threesome (edified`, rui and I) arrived back at Palawan, together with another group. NO MORE RIBENA LEFT! *sob lor! after slaving a whole day, and just wanted a cup of ribena.. i arrived to hear the news "NO MORE RIBENA!" wat is this... so bad to your dear photographer leh. And walking around the beach with my beehoon and water, coz no ribena, I continued to take pictures.. see! Haha..*

3.15pm: (approx time) JH was about to leave, but because we were starting our prize ceremony, she decided to stay on and be our guest lecturer aka prize giver. Had a round of cheers from each group to decide on best cheer. And the prize awarded are as follow:

1st prize: Team A

2ns prize: Team B

3rd prize: Team C *haha.. such COINCIDENCE!*

Most compassionate group: Team F

Best Cheer: Team E

Best Team Effort: Team G

Best Flag Design: Team D

3.20pm: (approx time) And we ended the AOTO with a photo taking session. Thank you Threesome! (some guys we troubled to take for us pictures. Outcome was great for EVERY camera okay. *Don't play play!*)

Although it was the end of AOTO, it was the start of the "Legendary Race" for our senior class rep, Rui.

3.25pm: "The Legendary Race" started. (Rui had to search for 12 'hanging' treasures around the beach) *LoL.. what a funny sight . So many hints had to be given to her... "9 o'clock rui" "no no.. 12 o'clock" "haiyo, see carefully" "eh.. be gentle can or not" "rui.. the other side".. tsk tsk..*

And a little surprise for her, from me... *in case you didn't know, while planning for AOTO, which happens to fall on her birthday, she was SO excited and kept saying "eh... I want surprise okay?" "Must tell me if you want to throw me into the sea leh. Then I must bring extra clothes" "I want surprise hor" ... haha.. Rui... not everyone as nice as me okay ^heartbeat action^ LoL! And so.. yupz...made a 'surprise' for her, but gave her a little hint a few days before, which of coz, she didn't get it!! Haha.. I'm too pro ^self praise.. i know. Laugh^ "Rui.. do you know where can print one tee shirt at cheap price?" "how much to print tee at tampines?"...*

AOTO...... SUCCESS! ...and exhausted with sun tan, sun burn, and great memories..
