It is true that with an open mind, we learn much more than we expect; much more than what is meant to be taught. Yet in reality, circumstances aren't always ideal. Imperfecto. That's why it's reality.

In times of conflicting perspective and principles, how does one decide which is the 'better'? Does what one hold on to what he/she believes and values or let it go and try to take upon a different perspective? If otherwise, if one holds on to his/her own principles, do we then deny ourselves the opportunity to learn, to see others?

It ain't easy, to take upon a conflicting view; especially when it differs from what you strongly believe in. But then again, this is reality. Circumstances aren't always ideal. The very nature of human nature defines the differences amongst its own kind; there's no denying about it. But how does one then take a balance between these differences?

Tough choice. In the face of difficulties.

And on the other side of the coin, "Failure comes only when we forget our ideals and objectives and principles" - Nehru.
