Finally headed down to Aspire Cafe to recee the place to see whether it suited our needs for the upcoming class gathering. Don't know what I have gotten myself into, but since I've started so I have to put in that extra effort. So 3 of us headed to the cafe located at Joo Chiat.

Had a little difficulty finding the place.. amongst all the pubs and hotel 81s and the tons of signages sprouting out of every wall. Was thinking if it was such a good idea to have the gathering here, especially on a Friday night *ponders*

The cafe was empty, and stayed empty for the next 3 hours too. Food was not bad ('home prepared'), and they've got handmade ice cream and even B&J. So, not bad actually. Quite a therapeutic environment, warm and cosy feeling but it was kinda cold coz of the aircon. Haha. Basically quite a good place to 'nua' and also have lots of privacy if we booked the cafe.

Asked about the details of rental of the place... best part for me is that they will close the cafe for you. I mean how cool is that. Haha.. Always seen it on tv and movie, guy books entire place for girl. Suave and romantic move, but not much of a link to our class gathering, but hey! It's still quite a good feeling too. Exclusitivity. Haha.

So... should be probably held here. Just need people to organise shtuff... games? speeches? lucky draw? contests? Haha. Just to 搞气氛, if not it'll be like a me-go-there-to-have-dinner-and-talk-to-my-clique gathering.
